Sister Boom-Boom One of the original Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a self- described order of gay male nuns, Sister Boom-Boom took part in street theater with them in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Mount Tamalpais The road that leads up to the top of Mount Tam is appropri ately called Panoramic Highway. All the way along, it provides you with dramatic views of the Marin Headlands, both on the Bay and ocean sides, and as you approach the summit, far-reaching views of the Bay Area (see p124).
